by Jackie Shaffer Sr. If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31). This book introduces the righteous for the unrighteous, the saint for the sinner, and the infinite for the finite. It shows us love on a scale that boggles the mind and staggers the imagination, and it shows fairness without fell in the light of onstage consequences. Amid the pages of this book, weights in flesh and spirit, opponents in the wake of contention, contenders in an arena where time goes against eternity. Moreover, this book presents freedom in the light of choice, essentially respect for the created, giving that which was never the option of yes or no in the face of death. ABOUT THE AUTHOR I am a native of Louisiana, a husband, a father of six, and a cook by trade. During the years of my adolescence, a question laid siege to my mind and relentlessly pursued an answer. In the wake of life, I experience good underfoot amid the power of evil: pain, suffering, sorrow, and death. In turn, awakening me to inquiry are the circumstances, if you will, with condition revertible. Without facts, knowledge of the bible, and/or God, my answer was yes in the light of why not. Not in pursuit but on the highway of life, I found myself confronted with God, or rather, the word of God to my amazement and confirmation with that satisfaction of mind. It was not because of my prior belief, though it was a part of it. Weighted by all that was, is, and is to come, conviction came by the word of God. As a Christian, I was challenged by many questions that were never answered to the satisfaction of others, as well as myself. Without saying I corner the market on truth, there was a necessity laid upon me to give an answer to others who are without.
