Birds and Other Things in Nature

By: Gloria Gentile

About the Book

Did you know pileated woodpeckers require 275 acres to build their nests?

Did you know peregrine falcons are aggressive toward other falcons and turkey vultures?

Did you know the scarlet tanager is the same color as the leaves in which she nests?

Gloria Gentile’s love and appreciation for all things in nature, especially birds, has inspired Birds and Other Things in Nature. She shares with us her immense passion of birds, with amazing facts, her favorite birdwatching places, and even some activities for you to do on your own.
