Diary of a Spirit Medium
by Karen Miranda

Diary of a Spirit Medium is about my life and my experiences with the gift to see, hear, and feel spirits. When I made my First Holy Communion, I never felt like I was alone; I could feel a presence around but could not see anyone. Later on, when I was 12 years old, I gave a message to my aunt at my uncles funeral. Years later, I got married and had three children. Six months after having my third child, everything changed. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and I started hearing, seeing, and feeling spirits. I thought there was something more seriously wrong with me than just having M.S., because some information that I was giving people from their loved ones that have crossed over was being validated. I was eventually led to the First Spiritualist Church of Quincy, where I learned how to control what was going on with me. I also discovered that I was not alone; there were other people just like me.

About the Author

I was born Karen M. Mastandrea, in the town of Norwood, Massachusetts, where I lived until I was 29, excepting my time in the convent in my early twenties. I was married when I was thirty years old, and I now live in Quincy, Massachusetts, and have three children. I have done demonstrations as a spirit medium at some of the area churches, and I have done some cancer charity work for one of my friends.
