by Choty-Anne Thomas The poems in this book evoke the loneliness of people dealing with lost loves, forgotten dreams, and broken hearts. Separated into three sections called Reflections in Anguish, Reflections in Repose, and Reflections in Tenacity, they seek to draw out into the open the strength, the resilience, and the indomitable courage of those who deal with the evanescent nature of hopeless dreams. Occasionally the spirit sustains itself through a resurgence of hope or a passionate acceptance of the inevitability of karma, or fate. The lines salute the vitality of all those who suffer their magnificent souls echo in the colors of the sunset and streak the contours of the world.
