The StressBuster's Guide to Whole Body Health
By: Ann Weinreb Colodny
About the Book
The StressBuster’s Guide to Whole Body Health! is a coloring workbook for parents and their children. It is intended to help children six, seven, and eight years of age learn to communicate their feelings, eat nutritionally, exercise every day, and, most importantly, set boundaries for themselves and those around them. It is also important for them to know that there is always a power greater than themselves who will always love and guide them through their life!
The book is a preventive for the common stress-related illnesses, unhealthy eating, low self-esteem, and a feeling of hopelessness when children become teenagers. This book is meant to give all children a sense of wellbeing, self-love, communication skills, nutrition, and the desire to be kind to others.
About the Author
Ann Weinreb Colodny’s studies began many years ago with two well-known physicians in the field of mind/body health. The program that she follows is one in which she diligently practices: mediation techniques, diaphramic breathing and also, “How to practice positive imagery”. This will help anyone desiring to change their negative thinking to positive awareness. Thus helping them achieve all the goals that they have set their mind to!
Ann’s catch phrase is “PMA to start your day which stands for positive mental attitude!” Positive thinking and positive imagery will help each and every child to achieve the best in life and the highest good self esteem. Ann has been in this field for 25 years and this is her first book in a series to follow. They are all about how to deal with life, siblings, school, sports, etc.
Ann is an artist and a teacher. Her focus is to combine her creativity and medical background to help children and their families to treat each other with the utmost in kindness, love, and compassion for one another.
Ann says that no matter our differences in race, color, or creed, we are all meant to be treated the same: with love, compassion, and respect. But most of all, with kindness.
She is married and has many children and grandchildren.
