Twilighting: My Exploration of the Twilight Phenomenon
by Emily Reynolds

The Twilight saga has become recognized as a worldwide phenomenon. Just as the world was making this discovery, so was Emily Reynolds. What began as an idea for a research paper turned into her masters thesis. Many wonder at the rapture of Twilighters, and the purpose of this work is to bring insight into the minds of Twilighters.

Reynolds traveled to many Twilight promotional events to observe, interview, and survey hundreds of Twilighters firsthand. This work shares highlights from her travels and, of course, reports what was seen, heard, and read directly from Twilighters. In this work, Reynolds discusses patterns of thought and behavior as well as levels of engagement.
