Product Overview

by S. A. Giles The story of three homeless puppies finding homes is intertwined with the question of Where is Mommy? As the puppies awake one cool, spring morning, they discover Mommy is gone. How a Little Puppy Finds a Home is the first book of a six-part series. The journeys and rewards for each puppy will be addressed in a separate book for each. Each puppy is described with certain character traits that exemplify positive leadership traits found in their human counterparts. Each puppys journey to a new family is interesting, heartwarming, and positive. There will be adventures, risks to be taken, and new friends to be made. A final question to be answered is: Do the three close siblings ever reunite? ABOUT THE AUTHOR A transplanted Oklahoman, S. A. Giles and her husband have lived the past thirteen years in Plano, Texas. The other occupant in their home is their golden retriever, Cookie. With her two sons grown and married, and having taught secondary English for over fifteen years, S. A. is turning her lifelong love for reading and writing into a new career. S. A. wrote her first book in second grade, and while it was not published, it has always been in the back of her mind to write quality reading material for the beginning reader. Her inspiration for this current series of books, A Home for All, came to her on the evening her youngest son and his wife introduced her to their newly adopted black puppy, a puppy with two huge ears. S. A. hopes parents will enjoy spending time reading this book to their young readers, and beginning readers will be challenged to read about the three puppies.
