About the Author
Evelyn Martes loves being outdoors and has enjoyed camping for almost thirty years with her husband of 39 years, her five children, and now her ten grandchildren. She also enjoys fishing and gardening. Evelyn is an active member in her church, located in Philadelphia, and has participated in One City One Love, an outreach program.
Evelyn received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the Esperanza College of Easter University and received her master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. She has worked in education for over 20 years, as both a teacher and a Head Start director for a low income community.
