ABOUT THE AUTHOR Sandra Eubanks was born in Santa Barbara, California, and now lives in Florida. She has four grown children and five grandchildren. Ms. Eubanks has a Ph.D. in metaphysics from the Institute of Holistic Theology and a diploma from the Institute of Childrens Literature. She is also the author of Slow-Go (1991) and Melanie Joy of Up Land (2004). Ms. Eubanks was inspired to write Carina the Angel after meeting a father whose four-year-old daughter, Carina, had died because of a medical error.
