About the Book
The author’s inspiration for the book is Gracie, her kitty. Amber wanted to share Gracie’s story through her eyes. This is a fun and meaningful story of a new beginning for a kitty. She is afraid and alone at the beginning and ends up with a loving family. Amber wants children to see that their pets do love them, no matter what happens in life. Pets are not just animals in our lives, they are part of the family.
About the Author
Amber Huff was born and raised in Florida. She loves to spend her time attending to her four-legged children, Gracie, Athena and Calypso. She was a stay-at-home wife for a time in her life and decided to write about her eldest kitty. Gracie has been with her since 2004 and they have seen each other through the good and bad times in life. She wrote this story to make kids smile and to see their pets as a family member and friend who will love them until the end of time. She also wanted everyone to know Gracie was a gift from God.
