About the Author
Susan Michalski has spent most of her life creating, teaching, and directing programs, and she always has several pieces of art in the making.
The very act of expressing myself has been a lifelong and daily exercise in patience, dedication, and creativity, says the author.
Michalski has a BFA in illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. She currently lives in Grass Valley, California, where she spends her time painting, printmaking, writing and illustrating books, gardening, skiing, walking, and kayaking. Poetic Painter is her fifth book.
