Telling Their Story
by V. Eugene Kennard
The author has employed a method of higher biblical criticism called narrative criticism. So often, those who study the Bible overlook Gods intimate desires for a close relationship with mankind, simply because they only focus on the details provided. As is so often the case, however, the Bible leaves out the lifetime of events that led up to Gods interaction with the person in the story. Narrative criticism allows each person the means to make the story more personal by musing about the possibilities. Suddenly, one is able to more closely identify with the story and the people they involve.
About the AuthorThe author holds a BA in pastoral theology from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida. He also holds a master of arts in theological studies from Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary.
