Edward Gheen’s The First Kiss: A Short Story of Lost Love is a memoir of growing up in the outback of Idaho and Oregon in the 1940s. His story is told through the many different and unique relationships he forged throughout his life: the loves found and the loves lost.
About the Author
Edward Gheen was raised in Indian Valley, Idaho, on a farm. In his teens, he moved to Oregon, where he graduated high school and began working for the Forest Service. He later joined the U.S. Navy for four years, before attending university and earning his degree as a Wildlife Biologist. He has led a full life, filled with love, children—and adventure!
He is now living in McCall, Idaho.
