The Little House on the Hill is an account of author Petra Cruz’s father—particularly his time spent as a missionary and how that influenced the lives of Cruz and others. Since his death, Cruz has sought to preserve her father’s legacy. She hopes this book will inspire readers to share God’s word as her father did.
About the Author
Petra Cruz and her late husband, Porfino, served together in the Hispanic Mission of First Baptist Church in Rockwall, Texas. She is the mother of Rebecca, who also served in Mission in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Petra is the daughter of Benigno Padilla, who served as a missionary in Canovanas, Puerto Rico. Petra enjoys studying the Bible and fellowshipping with the women of her church.
