Yoav J. Tenembaum has lived in various countries, including Argentina, where he was born; the United States; Britain, where he pursued most of his academic studies (at Cambridge and Oxford); and Israel, where he now lives. Yoav holds a doctorate in Modern History. Several of his poems have been published in various journals. He was a winner of the 59th Haiku Festival 2005, organized by the Basho Memorial Museum in Japan. A book of his for children, The Planet of Menadaoor, was published in London in 2005. This is his first book of poetry.
