Carol and Tom Dean never believed that they could be artists. But all that changed when they started crafting together in their workshop—teaching themselves drawing, painting, and woodworking.
We Met at the Dump is a celebration of how life changes. Though sometimes change is bittersweet, it can bring about some of the happiest experiences of our lives. Through their unique love story, Carol and Tom found happiness with each other and their newfound hobbies and interests, and hope to inspire others with their story.
About the Author
Carol and Tom Dean have a combined 47 years in sanitation. They have seen many changes over the years, from incineration and landfilling of solid waste to the reuse/recycle movement.
